Naramata Scottish Country Dancers
This group began dancing eleven years ago in Naramata. Like the Naramata Choir, our roots are in Naramata, but due to a growth in membership from around the region, classes are now held in Penticton at the Shatford Building, 760 Main Street, Penticton, on Wednesday evenings from 7:0o to 8:30 pm starting September 14, 2016. Beginners are welcome to join classes in September and January. Experienced dancers are welcome anytime but should contact the teacher Allan Crossley (250) 494-8967. This is a social dancing club and everyone pairs up during classes, so don’t worry about bringing along a partner. Great celtic music, fun, and exercise. Soft, flexible shoes recommended. No street shoes in studio, please. Scottish country dancing is an exuberant and active form of physical and mental stimulation. Call Kristi at (250) 496-5048 for carpool information.
